Ⅱ. Vision of Department
The vision of department lies in developing students’ creation, in educating students with professional knowledge and essential technical abilities, as well as in instilling values of service and positive work attitudes to meet the demands of community.
Ⅲ.Curriculum design of Department
(1) Cultivate professional chef talents that meet industry needs There are comprehensive cooking courses which include cuisines of Taiwan, Chinese cooking , baking science , Japanese-style cooking, Western cuisine, foreign cuisine and management and practices of beverage in response to students’ interest in learning. We expect to inspire students’ innovation to explore new designs of products.
(2) To nurture talents with catering administrative planning and global vision
Apart from cooking courses, the hospitality management courses of department include Restaurant Planning and Design, Catering Cost Control and Analysis, Marketing Management, Human Resources management, Entrepreneurship Operating and Management etc., which make students to establish administration capability. We also cultivate students’ global vision through foreign languages learning, multinational cuisine learning and overseas internship.
